This video serves as a teaser for a documentary film I am currently working on. Seven years, four months, and five days ago, I lost my baby boy, Lucas, who was stillborn.
As someone who does not bear my grief in silence, I choose to grieve through action. Since today, September 19th, is National Stillbirth Awareness and Prevention Day, and on this special day, I’d like to announce a new project, “The Due Time,” a documentary film dedicated to raising awareness and promoting the prevention of stillbirth.
Through impactful interviews with families, advocates, and healthcare professionals from the U.S. and other countries, The Due Time aims to inspire actions that will reduce stillbirths in the U.S.. For more information, please check out the film’s website.
I hope this documentary marks the beginning of a movement—one that will reduce stillbirths and save more lives in America.
I’m grateful for Zain Jaffer Foundation and the Star Legacy Foundation’s support, which has played a pivotal role in ensuring that this project has a solid start.
Nevertheless, a movement requires more than just a few participants. I invite you to embark on this hopeful journey with me, and help spread the word. If you’d like to support this project, please go to: https://starlegacy.app.neoncrm.com/forms/the-due-time. Our partnership with the Star Legacy Foundation means your donation to the film is tax deductible. Let’s make a change together. Thank you.
