Here is the recording of my interview with Fox & Friends Sunday.
I was scheduled to appear on Fox & Friends Saturday to discuss China’s role in the Ukraine crisis. Those of you who tuned in already knew what happened. Right after my introduction, my picture froze, and my segment stopped. If you wondered what had happened, here’s the behind scene story.
I got up around 3 am Saturday to be ready for the show. When I got to the studio, it lost power. The cameraman told me that he had battery-backed power. But to make sure there would be enough power to carry me through the interview, he had to keep the lights off. So both of us relied on flashlights from our phones to get ready.
There was no heat in the room. I was so cold that I had to cover my legs with the winter coat to stay warm.
Finally, it was time. The lights were turned back on, and I was ready to go. After one of the hosts introduced me, I answered her question. Only five seconds in, all lights in the studio went out. The cameraman had tried fanatically to get it to work again. But nothing happened. So Fox and Friends had to cancel the interview. Fortunately, they invited me to do the segment again on Sunday.
I got up around 3 am on Sunday again and went to the studio around 4 am. Fortunately, there was power, and everything worked beautifully. I came home around 6, as the neighborhood was still asleep, and I was glad to see bright sunshine fill our living room.
I’m writing this neither to brag nor to complain. Bad things happen all the time, and it’s part of life. We pick up the pieces and either try again or move forward.
I share my little story with you because people, including myself, often only see others in their glory. But “there is always a story behind each glory.” We usually don’t realize that those glamour and glory moments result from many hours of hard work, lots of challenges, and failures.
I’m grateful for every opportunity and incredibly thankful that I have all of your support while going down this journey. Thank you, and God bless.
Thanks for your analysis, Helen. It sounds spot on to me.
It's hard to believe that Biden thought China wouldn't spill the beans to Russia, as soon as Xi hung up the phone with Biden. How dumb can a president be? Trump would have never called on Xi for help in a million years.
Also, I agree with Ronald Tannert. Keep up the good work!
Love everything you stand-fore and do Helen! God bless you and keep-up the great work!
