I have also read, but the internet is not always correct, that due to less than optimum storage, much of China's grain reserves are rotted or at best, not in good shape. If, according to Bloomberg, China controls over half of the world's grain supply the food situation might be even worse than it now appears. Added to that is the flooding that occurred in southern China in the spring that has put this year's crops in danger. Let us pray for a loaves and fishes solution,
