Interview with Dr. Scott Atlas and Thoughts about Afghanistan
I had the honor to interview Dr. Scott Atlas last weekend at the Steamboat Institute's 13th Freedom Conference. Formerly a professor and chief of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center, Dr. Atlas is now a senior fellow in health policy at the Hoover Institution. He served as a special adviser to former President Trump and a White House coronavirus task force member from August to November 2020.Â
Dr. Atlas and I had an in-depth discussion on many topics. I have written a piece for TheFederalist.com, focusing on how science establishment lost its credibility during the pandemic and the terrible effects of lockdowns.Â
I've written another article for my paid subscribers here, focusing on science, the purpose of the COVID-19 vaccines, and the booster shots. Given the widespread interest in these topics, I'm now making this piece free for the public.Â
Another piece I’ve made accessible for the public is about the Supreme Court’s ruling on the CDC’s illegal eviction moratorium. I’m relieved that the court upheld property rights.
Many of us are still asking questions about the Biden administration's humiliating and chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan. Here is my latest piece from the foreign policy perspective, published by Newsweek. I argue that incompetence alone doesn't fully explain the catastrophe in Afghanistan. We cannot expect a good outcome when the Biden administration's foreign policy was based on wishful thinking about the Taliban and doubts about the United States.Â
If you enjoy reading any of these pieces, please know that I can only keep doing what I do because of generous support from you. If you are not a paid subscriber yet, please consider becoming one.
Thank you!
