At times, monumental events unfold before our eyes, yet it can take a while for their historical significance to sink in. In other cases, we grasp the extraordinary nature of an event as it occurs. The recent ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, following two years of conflict, accompanied by heartwarming images of Israeli hostages joyously reuniting with their families, falls into the latter category. This genuinely feels like a transformative historical moment that we are witnessing together.

For a long time, the phrase “peace in the Middle East” has often seemed like a cruel joke or a futile dream. Each peace attempt and negotiation appeared destined to fail from the outset, reminiscent of Sisyphus endlessly pushing a boulder uphill only to see it roll back down. The Middle East, particularly the Israel-Palestine conflict, has been a graveyard for experienced diplomats and ambitious global leaders.

So, why has Trump—whose background is primarily in real estate—managed to achieve what others could not? This is not a puff piece about him; rather, it aims to analyze his diplomatic breakthrough and extract valuable lessons for future efforts.

I believe that Trump’s extensive real estate experience, particularly in one of the toughest markets in the nation, equipped him with invaluable lessons that are relevant in both business and politics.
